This Easter Sunday sees the end of an era at the Story Bridge Hotel, with the Legendary Session Band taking a bow on 20 years of regular monthly appearances. The Band, led by empresario Mike Hawthorne have bought joy to the ears of the young and the old at the SBH since the 1980’s, with their virtuosic musicianship and phenomenal stage presence keeping music lovers coming back for more month in, month out for a quarter of a century. Whilst it’s not the last you will be seeing of the Session Band at the SBH (they’ll be back for special appearances!), it will be your chance to give them a big thank you and a bit of a send off to an iconic band from an iconic era. We can’t think of a better way to spend a lazy Easter Sunday afternoon and we hope you can join us between 3 and 7pm to experience a part of SBH history.
